Why Should There Be Mathematics?

Why should there be Mathematics? This question sometimes comes to mind when someone has been tired and bored of learning Mathematics. It usually happens to students in the second giede of high school. In this period they are still in an unstable condition because they are still searching for their true personality. This phenomenon can happen because the higher education level is taken, the more difficult materiels and lesson we should learn. It is true because an exact lesson like Mathematics does need carefulness. In the mean time, the fact proves that students consider Mathematics as a difficult, confusing lesson and thus, they had better to avoid it.

The way a teacher teaches also affect students interest to words learning Mathematics. A killer, impatient, and ignorant teacher usually reduces their interest because students who dislike the teacher will also hate the lesson. A student who learns from such teacher genarily faces more difficulties in understanding and loving Mathematics.

Mathematics is important but most of us have not completely understood what it is. We tend to think that Mathematics is complitcated and is taught by a killer teacher, it has been alegend. In contrast with that, Mathematics actually is a universal science. It is the basis of other sciences like physics, biology, and chemistry.

Since we were still in kindegardens until we studied in highschools and then, in universities for some of us, we get Mathematics as primary lesson. It is undeniable for counting has been a part of our lives. Therefore, Mathematics will never be separated from us both in lesson and in job. Jobs continue to develop along with technology. Technology need Mathematics, so that we can design effective and useful instrument. Even a doctor also has to master Mathematics due to his duty to give patients an exact composition of drugs so they will quickly get recover. Someone who works in economic field also needs Mathematics for calculation. Calculation is needed as the smallest step to settle our national economy and to fight corruption practices in order to revive. It is our duties as the next generation beside those fields, there are still many occupation which need Mathematics.
As to in connection with ourselves, by forcing our brains to thirt them from dullness. A person who masters Mathematics will easily master other sciences because he usud to ase his brain and logic. Thus, master Mathematics, and you will find the thruth.

Mathematics always plays its massive role in our life until the end of the day. Therefore, to learn Mathematics is to deeply understand the meaning of Mathematics itself. If we trace it down, we will find later the significance, and necessity to implement Mathematics with it, men can gather, work, serve, and interpret data. Men can calculate things and Mathematics is totally needed in the development of science and technology.

We can not always discredit something already exists, including society is image concernits Mathematics. The very first step we should take is to improve Mathematics image and teaching method. It is also important and urgent to implement Mathematics in all aspect of life. We should nohce that all sciences and knowledge need it as the basis structure. Without mastering it, important sciences such as economy, computer, and telecomunication will imposibly develop.

We can simply conclude that mathematics should exist because it is the basis of other sciences and crucial element for malarg a better and advanced life. Without mathamatics, we will rot be able to live through this changing and developing life.
